EMU Department of Physics Academic Staff Member Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Övgün Receives Outstanding Reviewer Award

For appearing in the top 1% of reviewers in Physics on the Web of Science global reviewer database Publons as determined by the number SCIE indexed peer-review reports Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Arts and Sciences Faculty, Department of Physics academic staff member Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Övgün was presented a  “Top Peer Reviewer 2019” award.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Övgün is the only person from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Turkey to be seen fit for the award mentioned above in the field of physics. Asst. Prof. Dr. Övgün released the following statement: “I am happy to share with you that I have once again received the award which I previously received in 2018. I would also like to congratulate Assoc. Prof. Dr. Önsen Toygar from EMU’s Engineering Faculty, Department of Computer Engineering for receiving this award in a different field (Cross-Fields).
