EMU Academic Staff Member Prof. Dr. İzzet Sakalli is Selected as an Outstanding Reviewer

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Arts and Sciences Faculty, Departments of Physics and Chemistry Chair Prof. Dr. İzzet Sakallı has been selected as an 'Outstanding Reviewer' for 2018 by “IOP (Institute of Physics) Publishing” which is one of the world’s most prestigious scientific publishers.

Prof. Dr. İzzet Sakallı was seen as worthy of the award for the second consecutive time after his high-quality refereeing in the Web of Science SCI & Q1 category “Classical and Quantum Gravity” journal. In a letter from IOP Publishing Prof. Dr. Sakallı was informed that he was selected as an outstanding reviewer because of his constructive as well as directive reviews and criticism.

Prof. Dr. Sakallı who is the only reviewer from Turkey or the TRNC to receive this award in 2018, indicated that he is proud to see EMU on the list amongst world-famous academic institutions.
