Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Övgün, faculty member in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), has been accepted as a member of the European Astronomical Society (EAS), one of Europe’s respected scientific organizations in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics.

The European Astronomical Society brings together researchers working in astronomy, astrophysics, and related disciplines, while promoting scientific collaboration and strengthening academic interaction at the international level. In this regard, membership in the EAS stands as an important indicator of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Övgün’s international academic visibility and the recognition of his scientific contributions.
